Mediumship and Channeling
What is Mediumship?
A medium is someone who communicates with spirits or entities; or more accurately, someone with whom the spirits or entities find it easy to communicate with.
The belief and proclaimed and even proven truth is that loved ones who have deceased are always around us. Sometimes they try to get a message across to us that generally we can not hear.
A Medium is a person who can and does hear, or see, or feel spirits that are on the other side of the veil or the physical transition we call death.
The word "medium" is used as a mechanical description, such as the computer, television and radio are each considered a medium.
A computer, television and radio all carry data we can not see or hear, until it is processed by the medium (computer, television or radio) and is converted into a form we can see and/or hear. A Medium carries a message from one octave, dimension or plane to another.
Mediumship is the activity of a human instrument, called a "Medium" or "Channel," that is used by one or more discarnate, spirit personalities for the purpose of:
Mediumship involves a person who is in physical embodiment upon the Earth plane (medium or channel) and a Spirit, called the communicator. The objective of the medium or channel and the communicator or spirit can be for more than one purpose such as communication and manipulation of the energies.
There are two categories of Mediumship:
What is Channeling?:
Channeling is a psychic activity that allows a spirit to enter a Channel's physical body and manipulate it. Most common occurrence of Channeling is when a spirit uses the channeler's voice-box. The Channel's voice-box will verbally speak at the direction and control of the spirit so that all can hear what the spirit has to relay.
To the lay person it looks like possession, but it is not the same. The Channel has the ability to shut-down the spirit at any time, within reason and gain sole control of her/his voice-box.
Generally, a good Channel is a person who devotes many years developing their skills in connecting and communicating with the 'incoming entity'.
